As a member of the graduate faculty in Mathematics and Statistics, Life Sciences, Interdisciplinary Neuroscience, Applied Mathematics for the Life and Social Sciences, and Computer Science here at ASU, I am available to advise graduate students in these programs, particularly if their research involves biological modeling in neuroscience. I also serve as an external advisor for several students in other training programs.

Another important feature of my research is that it is accessible to both graduate and undergraduate students. Any student with a basic understanding of the calculus and differential equations can begin to develop skills in mathematical modeling, the theoretical analysis of models, and the use of computer simulations. I am committed to including undergraduate students in my research through ASU's Barrett Honors College, UBM (Interdisciplinary Training for Undergraduates in the Biological and Mathematical Sciences), the SOLUR Program, and CSUMS (Computational Science Training for Undergraduatres in the Mathematical Sciences).
